What is XHTML?

Since the 1990s, HTML or Hyper Text Markup Language, has been the language recommended for writing Web pages. Now XHTML (eXtensible HyperText Markup Language) has been introduced by the World Wide Web Consortium, the standards body for the Web, as one of the current recommendations for web design.

The new markup language allows us to keep up-to-date with the latest web design developments.
